Welcome to Lewiston Auburn, Maine, the second largest community in the state. The Androscoggin River flows through our community, and determination courses through our veins. Some of the state’s most prestigious companies are located in Lewiston Auburn including Procter & Gamble’s Tambrands, Inc., General Electric, Country Kitchen, and L.L. Bean’s Telemarketing Center.  Lewiston Auburn is also home to Bates College, Sts. Peter and Paul Basilica, and the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer, Hope & Healing.

Younger & Diverse Population

Both Lewiston and Auburn have younger median ages than Maine as a whole. Together, LA Maine has a a greater percentage of persons aged 20 years and under than does Maine.

2010 US Census data also shows that LA Maine is more diverse than the State of Maine and most of Northern New England.

Great Education

The Cities of Lewiston and Auburn have educational institutions that are proven leaders in innovation and customized learning. By preparing students with 21st century skills, a rigorous curriculum, and a passion for learning, students leaving the K-12 system are well prepared for the next step in their educational journey or into the local workforce.
