Kathryn Skelton of the Lewiston Sun Journal has the story of a national health technology company that has chosen Lewiston for its latest expansion that will result in up to 200 new jobs at the Bates Mill.
Grand Rounds, with offices in San Francisco and Reno, NV, is currently hiring and training for positions known as care coordinators, with plans to hire as many as 30 by year’s end.
Skelton’s report focuses on the cooperative local efforts to attract the new investment and job creation to Lewiston, led by Platz Associates with complementary support from the City of Lewiston, the Lewiston Career Center and the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council. Maine & Company augmented the case for Maine throughout the effort.
LAEGC is proud to once again work collaboratively with its many fine development partners to produce another win for our local economy. Welcome to Lewiston, Grand Rounds!
